House tour: Kitchen If you haven’t seen the before of our kitchen, it was deeply, deeply grey and beige. 🫣 Being a new build the kitchen itself was in good condition but a bit drab, so I painted the cupboards, had a new boiler cupboard installed, along with new spotlights and we replaced the floor for a herringbone pattern vinyl. The tiles were the biggest but most effective investment and I’m so glad we went for them, they make me smile every day! 💗 FAQs I painted the cupboards with Evening Blue and Champagne Pink by @makeitrustoleum Wallpaper is by @lust.home Our tiles are from @metrotilesuk - we initially spoke to a tiler who told us they were bathroom tiles and just “wouldn’t work” in a kitchen. In reality, he didn’t want to do the job as the pattern is a bit of a faff around sockets etc. If someone tries to tell you your idea won’t work - they aren’t the right person for the job.
