Raw, unflitered, the reality & truth behind this account & my status as a creator on this platform. • I strongly believe a HUGE reason why I gained some success on this platform & some interest in my craft was because of the pandemic. Some of my most popular videos were published during the pandemic, when nobody had anything but freetime on their hands. Including me! I didn’t have a social life, none of us did, which meant ample time for exploring & creating, not just neat things but also videos. • That has all now changed drastically. I do have events & outings. I do have other things on my plate besides work & books. It’s been tough to manage. And if I’m being honest it’s a pressure I tend to put on myself, rather than something that’s externally forced by followers or social pressures. I *want* to get back to how things were, but I’m so far from it, and I genuinely do not know the best way to get back into that former groove. • I’ve resided to doing *this* for me. Pushing the pressures aside, not focusing on making content per se, but finding that passion & desire to once again make books & paper by just doing the craft. If videos can be made from it, so be it, but that is not the primary motivatation or objective. This might look like doing something completely different from the established “brand” of this page. It probably is—some craft totally new to me. Maybe I’ll make videos about that journey, if I’m feeling up to it. Otherwise, at minimum, the plan is to just *try* to create new things & explore new mediums in the hopes of finding the passion, without the social pressure (whether self inflicted or not) once again. • Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk ✌🏼If you’re a creator feeling similar things, let’s talk about it!
