⚫️ RACE ARTUMENT⚪️ | Racism is not the default state of the human mind. It takes constant social programming to maintain the illusion that the color of your skin is a significant measure of your worth. Unfortunately, once society has convinced you to see life through the lens of racism, it’s hard to see anything else. It’s easy to understand and obvious to see, making it an appealing target for blame for disparities, or in other words, diversity of life conditions. And the most insidious part is that our blind acceptance of the concept of race, has made racism real and dangerous. People on both sides of this debate are wearing the same racial lenses, and though people have historically been tortured and killed because of those lenses, neither is willing to be the first one to take them off…if you are ready to escape the endless cycle of stereotyping and hatred, then get off this app, and go talk, work, play, and laugh with new and different people. Take a risk and hangout in a new neighborhood, city, or country.
