Honestly impressed with her bravery. The Ganges is an ancient and sacred river…however, millions of tons of toxic industrial waste, raw sewage, and literal dead bodies are sunk there every week. Many locals bathe daily in its waters, wich are considered holy, but Westerners do NOT have the imune system to handle it. She’s brave. 😹

Been visiting since 2017 - amazing 🤩 . Be sure to come early and enter in less busy areas. They really try hard to boss people around and force you to sit in certain places, but if youre smart and know a couple words in Bietnamese, you can nail a good spot. ✌️

Would you swim in fish spunk? 🐠💦😳 . The annual herring spawn on Vancouver Island brings millions of female herring to lay their eggs, leading the males to release their semen to germinate all along the shallows of the sea. This creates an explosion of life where animals migrate for thousands of miles to come and feast on the dying herring, their eggs, and all that come to harvest. One thing’s for sure, it certainly creates a beautiful colour. . Our eco-photographer @seabound.jessica volunteered to take a plunge in the murky waters. A cold and slimey dip, but she came out smelling like she emerged from a spa 💙
