Mango horchata, i had this saved in my drafts for almost a year and forgot to post it! I love adding fruits to horchata, you can change it up and add pineapple , or any other kind of fruit 🫐🍓🍌you all loved the strawberry horchata I know you will love this one as well! -1 cup rice -4 cups hot water -4 cinnamon sticks -7 mangos for purée + 2 more for garnish - 1 1/2 cups milk of choice -12 oz can evaporated milk -14 oz can sweetened condensed milk -1 tsp vanilla To a large bowl add the rinsed cup of rice, with the cinnamon sticks and hot water, let it sit in the fridge overnight covered with plastic wrap. The next day blend it with the 3 cups of water it was soaking in and an extra cup of water. Once blended well strain for a smooth consistency, pour into a large glass pitcher with all the milk listed above , vanilla and mix well. Now start on the mango purée, cut up all the mango’s and blend with a bit of water for an extra smooth consistency.
