@Adrizzi222 this is for you! OBVI the best thing you can do is ask for a spot, but i know better than anyone that sometimes that makes things harder if you dont perform under pressure. 1. Simply unracking the weight can help your nervous system acclimate to a new load and will make it less shocking than when you actually go to squat. 2. It might seem insignificant, but the more energy you can preserve in your unrack can be the difference between success and failure. 3. Pin squats - i dont use these for pr weights but i do think they are one of the best drills for teaching control and getting comfortable in the hole. 4. Practice bailing - i know it seems silly, but the more confident you are if things go wrong, the less you have to worry about.
