Let this serve as a reminder that repentance alone doesnt save you. The thief on the cross never went to church, never prayed, was not a righteous man by any means, but in his last momenrs of life, his belief in Jesus saved him. & while Judas’ destiny was not explicitly mentioned in the bible, it is infered that even though he returned his silver and repented for what he has done… in Acts 1:25 it mentions “Judas left to go where be belongs” Many people put too much faith in themselves and their own repentance, but its not enough. Always remember the theif on the cross and that we are saved by grace though faith alone.
