If you're like when I started...gym anxiety made you quiet working our and pursuing your fitness goals again and again. These are three facts that reduced my gym anxiety and finally got me consistent with working out. 1.) no one cares about you. i used to be super skinny and had a lot of gym anxiety. i felt like i was embarrassing myself by going to the gym not looking fit. years later, i now know that 99% of people do not even see you. everyones trying to get in and out of the gym because they have somewhere to be and are busy. plus think about it: how many people are really thinking about you when they're in the middle of lifting really challenging weights? sometimes i cant even remember how many reps i did 2.) progress takes time. i gave up so many times bc i didnt look any different a few weeks into working out. it really sucks because if i kept at it for longer than 1-2 months i would've started seeing so much growth from then on out 3.) use videos. not knowing if i looked stupid doing an exercise wrong really messed with my confidence at the gym. but thats why i make videos explaining exercise form to yall. theres also soooo many videos out there now for you to bring to the gym to watch and copy to master form! but just make sure to try your best to separate good info from the BS! #fitnessjourney #gymanxiety #confidence #gymmotivation #motivation #fitnessmotivation #gym #fitness
