FIRST JAPANESE STYLE BAGEL POP UP THIS SATURDAY 「 9.11.23 」AT TSUCHI CAFE (TORONTO). Over a year of practicing and developing a wide range of bagel doughs and fillings, I’m beyond excited to finally be able to share a new world of bagels here in Toronto. Thank you to haru-san for giving me the opportunity to do so and helping me make my vision into reality. The line up of flavours I’ve created for my first pop-up comes from a place of nostalgia, using seasonal ingredients that feel the most comforting and exciting to me & really hope you enjoy them too 💚 🥚 OHAAYO! Tamago Sando - dashimaki tamago, sweet onion steak, impossible patty, miso mayo, and lettuce between a aonori (seaweed) bagel. 🍙 Ohagi Sando - ohagi made with my grandmas anko and kinako cream cheese whip between a fuwa-mochi bagel. 🍛 Karaage Kare Sando - karaage, my signature 15-spice curry sauce, fukushinzuke, miso mayo and cabbage between a fuwa-mochi bagel. 🍠 Daigaku Imo Cheesecake Bagel - sweet potato bagel filled with Daigaku imo cheesecake and topped with crispy sweet potato d’amande and daigaku imo. 🍵 Matcha Yatsuhashi Bagel - matcha bagel filled with Koshian (smooth sweet bean paste), cinnamon yatsuhashi (kyoto mochi) and topped with cinnamon sugar cookies.
