Nonnos meatballs! ❤️ recipe below and on Instagram! P.S. we had a meatball competition in our family! Serves 2 people (we served a lot of people and made 70 meatballs!) 1 pound ground beef 1 egg 50 grams bread (soaked in cold water) 2 gloves garlic 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons salt 1 tablespoon pepper Parsley Basil Nutmeg 20 grams of raisins and pine nuts 1-2 quarts of tomato sauce Soak your bread in cold water for 1 hour Add raisins and pine nuts in a food processor to get a thick consistency. Add your ground beef or any meat you prefer to a bowl. Add your soaked bread, egg, salt, pepper, parsley, basil, raisins and pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic, grated nutmeg. Mix the ingredients until they’re all incorporated Roll into small meatballs however big or small you prefer Bake on a baking sheet in a 475 degree oven for 20-25 minutes Transfer to your simmering sauce (about 1-2 quarts) for 20 minutes while you slowly stir.
