What should we try feeding next? 🥰 Daxter slowed down eating shortly after we adopted him which was about a year ago. It turned out that he had tail rot, a life threatening infection in the tail. We tried multiple rounds of antibiotics with no success. He ended up having half his tail amputated and he is doing SO much better! We have been force feeding him for almost a year and thought he would never eat on his own again. Apparently he needed some superworms! If your bearded dragon has tail rot, it is very serious and they need veterinary attention right away. It is life threatening and they need prescriptions and/or surgery 🧡🦎 #beardeddragon #surgery #recovery #recoverytok #recoveryispossible #daxterthedragon #eating #eatingshow #superworms #dubiadotcom #anaesthesia #beardeddragon #beardie #beardiesoftiktok #reptile #reptilesoftiktok #reptiles #pogonavitticeps #pogona #vetmed #veterinarian #veterinary #veterinarymedicine #pet #pets #petmed #disability #amputeelife #liazrd #petlover #zenhabitats #zencave #lizard #lizards #lizardsoftiktok #lizardsarecool #beepboopbeardies #tailrot
