Beef Bourguignon (serves 4) 1 red onion sliced 800g Beef cheeks cubed 200g smoked bacon lardons 2 tbsp. tomato puree 200ml red wine 1 beef stock pot 1 tsp. Dijon mustard Few sprigs fresh thyme 250g baby carrots 100g mushrooms Method: 1: Pop the beef cheeks into the slow cooker pot along with the rest of the ingredients, stir to make sure everything is well combined. Place on the lid and cook on the low setting for 8 hours. For the last hour set the lid slightly ajar and cook over the high setting.
