YOU deserved a second chance, and it was robbed from YOU! if a man’s shirt would’ve opened, he would’ve been given a second chance. it’s easy not to be upset about things like this when you’re in the skating world….it took me a while to realize what was really happening too and its outdated and misogynistic. speaking from experience, if your coaches are not willing to go to bat for you in unfair situations, They don’t deserve you. i’m so sorry this happend to you…. I would search the rulebook to the letter (make SURE it’s the current version it changes often) and find where a fixable costume malfunction results in immediate disqualification…. I don’t think you’re gonna find it. when I didn’t find my situation in the rulebook, I quit my club and took everything up political. it did good and brought some accountablility to USA Roller Sports (i was a roller figure skater, but we are sanctioned under the Olympic committee like y’all) doing that made me give up my entire career . i’m not saying you should…i’m just saying i’ve been here. if you decide to go down that route, you will need to look into the Olympic overarching rulebook (i forget the exact name but i can find it), as well as the Updated safe sport policies - it sounds like alot but I’ll help you with whatever you need as best as i can<3 #fi#figureskatingtiktoki#figureskatingcoachi#figureskatingdress
