But itās not enough to make you tight, toned, snatched, or whatever else some other trainer is selling you onā¦ Until you reduce your body fatā¦ your belly is still going to be thicker than you want and youāll continue to pass it off as that āstubborn areaā as you sweat through another 100 crunchesā¦ You have to get one thing under control and be consistent at it if you want to lose fat and inches off your waist.. Calories. I donāt care if they come from salad, wine, or Tagalongs.. If youāre eating too much, no core routine is ever going to snatch anythingā¦ And I threw in wine because itās a huge culprit with this crowd. šš»āāļø When you drink, your body immediately stores wine directly in the bellyā¦. Joking. But itās extremely high in calories, ruins your recovery process, negatively impacts sleep, decreases your energy which all make sticking to your calories or a solid workout routine next to impossible. Get into a calorie deficit you can stick to long term. So no 1200 calorie diets. š Add in core work to build a strong midsectionā¦ I suggest: Heavy cable crunches Slow & Controlled Leg Raises Palloff Press Heavy Cable chops Take your weight daily, photos and measurements monthlyā¦ Give it 2+ months and you will begin to see a major difference.
