I really loved the Austin Public Library. I've never seen a library like it. Such a beautiful building and public space. The building is a true work of art. There is a very open concept and feels almost like you are in a huge clock with many windows. It has quiet reading sections, rentable laptops, teenage-only and children-only spaces, meeting and collaboration rooms, porch and rooftop areas with views of the city, beautiful M.C. Escher-esque staircases up all 5 floors, amazing windows and natural lighting everywhere, comfortable and stylish chairs all over to rest and relax, numerous well-spaced work areas, human-sized chess board, elegant art, clean bathrooms, and a palpable peace throughout the space 💙. #austin #library #downtown #austinlibrary
