Baby, these 3 tips will help you reach your goals. Weight loss is difficult, but it’s not complicated. And this is how I did it. This is how I sustained it. This is how I healed my relationship with my body and nutrition. understanding how movement affects your journey, is only going to empower you. With that being said, if you’re on a fat loss journey, the last thing you wanna do is a ton of cardio, because not only is that going to increase your appetite, which will likely take you out of a deficit, but it’s also going to break down your existing muscle. AND MUSCLE BURNS FAT. The way I wish I understood this at the beginning of my weight-loss journey… naturally the more muscle you have on your body, the lower your body, fat percentage will be PERIOD. Muscle is also the most metabolically active tissue in your body (which is a fancy way of saying that muscle needs a lot of calories to be sustained, so it stimulates your metabolism to function faster) so now are you not only burning body fat faster, but you are sustaining fat loss in the long run. ‼️No more using genetics as an excuse for a slow metabolism… ‼️ WHICH MEANS, weight training is the most efficient form of exercise that you should be performing, if you’re on a fat loss journey when it comes down to the science. But now I’ll eat my words, and say, if you cannot be consistent with weight training, at this point in your life, be consistent with whatever form of movement, makes you feel empowered, and strong.💪🏽 And if this is already overwhelming, or you can just tell you need more support, this is why I became a coach.
