Hi Everyone, When I posted Chicken Curry recipe the other day, many asked for basic recipes like fish curry, sambar and etc. I hv never made fish curry since I moved to this kitchen so decided to post my ultimate fish curry recipe today 😬. This recipe is a keeper I swear. Just like chicken curry, I do not add coconut milk into my curry, only once in a while I'll add when I feel like adding. You add add coconut milk if you want. Today Im using red snapper (ikan merah for my curry. My fav fish for fish curry is jenahak, but didnt manage to get it today. You can use any fish u prefer. Happy trying 🤗 Fish Curry By Sheena Ingredients :- 4 pieces of fish (mixed with some turmeric powder and salt 15 shallot 8 cloves of garlic 2 green chilis 1 tomato (choose the ripe one) 5-10 okra/bendi 1 small or medium size raw mango(optional) Some curry leaves 1 ts talippu (tempering mix) 1 ts fenugreek 5 tbs fish curry powder 1 ts mixed spice by sheena (optional) 1 ts kashmiri chili powder 1/2 tamarind water 2 cups water Some coriander leaf Salt Method :- 1. In a kadai or pan, heat up 5 tbs oil 2. Add in tempering mix, fenugreek, curry leaves and garlic 3. Saute well for a minute 4. Add in shallots and saute till shallots turms translucent 5. Once shallot turns translucent, add in tomato and green chilis 6. Mix well and saute till tomato turns mushy 7. Add in fish curry powder, mixed spice and chili powder 8. Mix well and let oil split. Use low flame 9. Add in water and tamarind water once oil splits 10. Season with salt 11. Give it a good stir 12. Add in mango. 13. Bring to boil and add fish with okra 14. Close with lid and cook for 5 minutes 15. Open lid and add coriander leaf 16. Stir slowly and off the heat. 17.
