COOKIE CROISSANT AKA “CROOKIE” 🍪🥐 We’ve been seeing these crookies inspired by the Parisian bakery Boulangerie Louvard all over our FYP, so @Alexa Santos decided to give them a try for this weeks’ Trending Tuesday! A traditional butter croissant is filled and baked with chocolate chip cookie dough…it really doesn’t get much better than that! Full recipe below: INGREDIENTS: 1 store bought croissant 4 ounces cookie dough Chocolate sauce, optional Caramel sauce, optional Powdered sugar, optional RECIPE: 1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Take the croissant and cut it in half through the middle, like a sandwich. Smoosh half of the cookie dough on the open part of one of the croissant halves, then close the croissant like a sandwich. Then smoosh the other half of the cookie dough on top of the closed croissant. 3. Place the cookie croissant on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes, until cooked but still gooey. 4. Drizzle chocolate sauce and caramel sauce on top, then sprinkle on powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
