Is this the first time Philly cheesesteak has been cooked in the Australian bush? I love the pure simplicity of a traditional cheesesteak but yet has bags of flavour and would near on uppercut you. Bread, cheese wiz, onion and chopped rib eye steak are somehow a match made in heaven! Now as you know, when camping you dont have access to all the tools you would normally had at home, so par freeze your rib eye to aid cutting it paper thin. INGREDIENTS: - hoagie rolls or a vietnamese baguette of you can’t get a hoagie - 1x diced onion - Backyard BBQ seasoning - 2x tbsp unsalted butter - 1x ribeye per person - 1/2c full cream milk - enough American cheese to clog your arteries - cracked black pepper METHOD 1) dice your onions, season with Backyard BBQ and skme butter and put to the side 2) slice your ribeye as thinly as the beers you have drunk will let you and season 3) sautee onions and half way through sear your steak 4) whilst thats all happening, combine milk, cheese and pepper in a small pot on low heat and combine. If you want it thicker add more cheese. Beware it will coagulate quickly with no heat 5) toast your buns in the same pan as the steak then assemble #phillycheesesteak #cheesewiz #campcooking #bbq #aussieqbbq #bushcooking
