Supplies & Directions ⬇️🌈✨ There are some really common kid’s crafting techniques that I feel are like the capsule wardrobe of the kid’s craft world. Once you’ve got those down, they’re so easy to modify for different themes, seasons, and holidays!! From now until Easter, I’ll be sharing 10 different techniques to decorate this paper egg template. I’m hoping through this series you’ll be inspired by a new art technique! For reference, my girls are 6 and 9 so each of the activities will be great for that age range (and usually an even wider range than that!) ✨This is technique number 4 of 10. Be sure to follow me to see all of the techniques!!! Supplies: White cardstock or watercolor paper Water Paint Brush Watercolor Paint Glue @Elmers Salt @mortonsalt Scissors Directions: 1. Cut egg shape out off white cardstock or watercolor paper (I used cardstock in the video) 2. Draw design on egg with Elmers Glue. 3. While glue is still wet, cover with table salt. 4. Gently shake off any excess salt. Let dry. Once dry, gently shake off any excess salt again. 5. Use a paintbrush and watercolor paints to paint the salt. The more water/paint in your brush, the more you’ll see it bleed through the salt. Paint the white paper if you wish. 6. Let dry and the display!! 7. Follow me to see techniques 5-10!! #kidscraft #kidscraft #kidsactivity #kidsactivities #artsandcrafts #kidsart #kidscrafts101 #kidscraftideas #craftsforkids #craftsfortoddlers #craftsforchildren #easycrafts #easycraftsforkids #easyactivitiesforkids #elementaryart #elementaryartclass #yaysayers #easter #eastereggs #processart #processartforkids
