Our bodies are meant to click/crack/pop and this is all completely normal as long as it is asymptomatic. It's time to stop fearing performing a deep squat because every time you get close to 90 degrees, you hear a "click". Research has shown us that this "click" is likely just a tendon sliding, and that "creaking" likely means you need to get those joints moving. And no, just because you are hearing rice krispies does not mean that you are going to experience an increased risk of joint degeneration. It's time to stop fearing those movements where we have a click or a pop and time to start introducing them back into your routine.
