We can't get enough of Pompano/Pampano! This time we tried FoxyFolksy's recipe. Ang sarap po! ✨🐼 Definitely, a must try! ✅ Steamed Pompano Chinese-Style by FoxyFolksy - Clean pompano and slit 2 stripes per side - Soak Pompano in water for few minutes - Chop spring onions 3 inch - Ginger (cut to 8 batons. Get the two batons, slice them thinly) - Place green onions, sliced ginger and sliced red bell pepper in cold water - Place remaining sliced ginger + remaining green onions inside the Pompano - On a plate, add batons of ginger then place the pompano. Brush some oil and salt. - Place the plated Pompano on steamer (water should be already boiling) Steam tor 8-10mins - Make the sauce: 2 tbsp water, 1 Tbsp Mirin and 1 tbsp soy sauce. - Once pompano is cooked, drizzle with sauce and garnish with veggies (ginger, green onions ans red bell peppers) on top - Heat 2-3 tbsp of cooking oil. - Pour the hot cooked oil on Pompano - Serve hot.
