Did you know it’s been 2 years since I create my original SCP-1471 sculpture? This is one of my favourite pieces to date, and still hangs on my bedroom wall! (I sleep like a baby for anyone wondering) This was my attempt at redesigning the classic SCP. I’m aware that while SCP & SCP entities are licensed under Creative Commons which makes them accessible to anyone, but also that the original photo of SCP-1471 on the Wiki was actually a stolen image from a fursuit maker whose skulldog suit was made into this entity unexpectedly. Here, I’ve created a design that is completely my own. It diverges from the wiki version with a whole new horrifying set of features; exposed bone spines on the back, rotting and naked flesh and wet, swampy hair. This version is what nightmares are made of, and as such it has become one of my favourite pieces to recreate. This original was created using a roadkill fox skull that I cleaned up and attached to a sculpted polymer clay neck. ALL the rot is fabricated from paint and various materials. #taxidermy #furry #scp #horror #scpfoundation #scp1471a #foxskull #scp1471 #scpcontainmentbreach #keter #polymerclay #sculpture #clay #apoxiesculpt #drbright #hardtodestroyreptile #scp173 #scp049 #artistsoninstagram #artist
