Too young for Disney Let’s be honest, Disney doesn’t have an age limit. Disney is fit for all ages, young old, and everything in between. We started taking our daughter when she was 18 months old. I have been to Disney before and my husband never had been, but honestly, I didn’t fall in love with Disney until I saw her face. I watched as she fell in love with characters, and how she fell in love with the scenery. The number one reason to go before they’re three is their park entry is completely FREE. This can be true even for their third birthday as long as you check in prior to them turning three. The second reason to go before they’re 3 is they completely believe in the magic. Unlike us as adults, they don’t know that the characters are just that, they truthfully believe that they are meeting the people that they’ve grown up watching. It is truly magical to watch them experience the magic especially for the first time. The third reason to go before they are three is that you can go to these character meals, and only have to pay for the adults. Kids 2 and under eat FREE at table service restaurants. We were able to eat at Hollywood and Vine with the Disney junior characters and we were able to eat at places like Crystal Palace as well and we only had to pay for my husband and I. At the end of the day Disney is a magical for everyone who shows up, but I didn’t know magic until I went to Disney with my toddler.
