Replying to @slicebananas the weight loss secret that doctors are not taught. @Rav Malik is a sales rep. I am tagged in his videos constantly, where he consistently talks about fibre, fasting, insulin and glucose. Some of his information is fine. But, a lot of his information is distorted and eventually geared towards a sales pitch for a very expensive supplement package. Once you realise this, you will probably notice some of the sales tactics oozing through his videos. Cliff notes of his entire page: - fibre is good (correct) - many people don’t eat enough fibre (also correct) - low carb and intermittent fasting diets help promote fat loss (correct) - low carb and intermittent fasting diets are the best way to lose fat because of insulin (incorrect) - you need to buy his $150 per month supplement package with a proprietary blend (incorrect) Look, everyone has something to sell, that’s fine. The problem is when people distort the truth to sell you something, and this is something that he does consistently, in my humble opinion. P.S. My new book ‘Everything Fat Loss’ is currently on sale at Amazon with an additional 13% discount in Canada and 10% discount in America.
