Dad/husband take over with my dad’s famous soup recipe! RECIPE BELOW⬇️⬇️ Jack in the kitchen - A new segment where my dad shows us his cooking skills. He’s got some recipes up his sleeve. Recipe One small onion A few carrots 2 stalks celery 1 bouillon cube Half a can of peeled tomatoes 1/4 pound pancetta A 16 oz of peas 17oz frozen fava beans package 12 ounce bag of asparagus ( we just put the tips) 12 oz artichoke hearts 2 small potatoes Directions: At the bottom of a pan heat up some olive oil. Add the onions, carrots and celery. Sauté the onions until it gets soft. Then brown the pancetta. Then add the peeled tomatoes. Cook together until everything gets soft. Add water to cover vegetables. Add the fava beans, peas, bouillon cube. Add water if needed. Cook for a couple of minutes. Then add asparagus, add salt (don’t over do it with the salt because you have bouillon cube) Let that cook a few minutes. Then add peas and potatoes cook for 10 minutes. Lastly add artichokes. Add lid put on medium and let it cook for 20 minutes. Should be ready after that. A good indicator that all veggies are cooked is if the potatoes are cooked. * Always make sure you add water to cover veggies. Vegetables should always be covered with water.
