Let’s talk about it… sadly I have realized that support from most stops the moment your child dies. People stop checking in, people unfollow, people stop sharing and interacting. Not everyone but many do. Since I have been posting more about advocacy and Childloss I’ve seen numbers drop across the board. I honestly don’t care about that number in my personal life but when you are trying to advocate and raise awareness the more people hear and see the more impact you make, the more chances of CHANGE to happen. I rather have 100 supporters but my advocacy reaching millions. I am not a mother raising awareness for her fighting child anymore. I am a mother who is broken, angry that her child died because people look away. Because no one wants to see what childhood cancer really looks like. They want things sugar coated they don’t want to be uncomfortable. I’ve said this and I’ll say it again. It takes those who haven’t been personally affected by cancer to fight with us, to make our children’s voices louder!!! . To those who stay, to those who continue to support. You are seen you are appreciated. It’s because of YOU that our voices are starting to make changes. I ask you to never stop. We fight together! Thank you for saying our kids names, thank you for helping us keep their legacy alive 🫶🏻🦋🩵🌙✨ . EVERY child FIGHTING cancer, who FOUGHT, and will have to FIGHT matters!! #childhoodcancer #LunaZoeStrong #LunasEverglow #childhoodcancerawareness #gogold #truth #grief #childloss #terminalcancer #pediatricbraincancer #dmg #dipg #hospice #cancersucks #childhoodcancerawarenessmonth
