Creating a last minute anniversary gift for my wife…JBV Creative Style ••• It’s crazy, but it has been a year since I married my best friend. The theme for a first year anniversary gift is (apparently) paper. Using my laser cutter, I was able to capitalize on the theme, turning a piece of cardboard into a cool Miura fold based card/kinetic art piece. ••• I started by using the @glowforge to score the Miura pattern into the cardstock. It took some convincing, but I was able to get the cardboard to fold in the chevron like pattern without tearing. How it started VS how it's going... I've been absolutely exploding with excitement to tell you all about the new Glowforge Aura!! I've been a longtime fan of Glowforge but just could never justify the expense for a pro-level laser-cutter but Glowforge has just changed the game - with this all-new at-home laser (specifically designed with crafters in mind!), you can still cut, score, engrave, and more on over 100 materials.
