Here are two tips to keep in mind the next time you clean your kitchen. Lights in your kitchen might get grease or food splatters on them, and they will require cleaning. Typically, you can take the light fixture apart and wash the pieces in the sink with soap and water. However, some may be difficult & complicated to take apart ( like The ones in the video ) and the way I clean them is with dawn dish soap, a few microfiber towels, and a spray water bottle. Always remove the lights first before using any cleaning liquid. I spray the soap on some microfiber towels, and I start cleaning the light fixture. Once I get all the grease & grime off, I get new, clean microfiber towels, spray them with water, and wipe the fixtures to remove the soap. Before I put the light bulb back in, I wipe it with a clean dry microfiber towel. If you’re dealing with watermarks or rust buildup on your stainless steel appliances, such as a refrigerator or even a dishwasher, use @Bar Keepers Friend along with a soft microfiber towel or a sponge. I’m using the soft side of the scrub mommy sponge. I poured some barkeepers on the sponge, and then I wiped with the grain on the refrigerator so I was wiping up and down, not side side. This next part is very important. Once you’re done cleaning, you need to rinse the barkeepers off thoroughly with water. So I spray water on the fridge and then wipe it with a clean, dry microfiber towel. You may have to repeat this rinsing process a couple of times to ensure all the barkeepers friends are off. #kitchencleaning #greaseremoval #thomasvillega #lightfixture
