Partner Quad Massage Here’s a massage technique for those sore quads. 😤 🦵🦵 For best results, grab a partner, but know that you can also use a foam roller, a rad ball, or even self-massage in a pinch. Starting at the bottom of the quads, down by the knee, use the knife edge 🔪 of your forearm to glide up the quads, using the opposite hand for extra pressure. Use lotion or oil to help glide the arm over the muscles. Make sure your partner breathes and tries to relax during these. 😮💨 The quads consist of the rectus femoris, vastus intermedius, vastus lateralis, and (don’t let Doc Mike fool you here), the VMO or vastus medialis (oblique). Move along all of the muscles all the way up to the hip point, or ASIS, or anterior superior iliac spine. You might be having such a great time, that you even hit the adductors and the TFL.
