Preheat over to 265 degrees F 2. Cook the diced onions in oil for 3-4 minutes. 3. Add in Garlic, Fennel, and Chili flakes and cook for another 2 minutes 4. Add in brown sugar and cook down till everything is emulsified 5. Add in Ketchup and Soy sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes 6. Put the sauce all over the ribs. Make sure to get it on the bottom as well. 7. Cover the ribs with foil and make sure it’s tight. No air should get out. 8. Cook for about 1.5-2 hours depending on the thickness. 9. Take out the oven, remove the top cover and re-coat the ribs with the sauce. 10. Increase heat to 325 degrees F and place the ribs in for another 30 minutes 11. Take it out, let it cook for a few minutes an enjoy!

Beef braised short ribs: Ingredients: * 4 pounds beef short ribs * Salt and black pepper to taste * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil * 1 large onion, chopped * 3-4 carrots, chopped * 2 celery stalks, chopped * 4 garlic cloves * 2 tablespoons tomato paste * 2 cups red wine * 2 cups beef broth * 2 sprigs fresh thyme * 2 bay leaves Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 360F 2. Season the short ribs generously with salt and black pepper. Heat the vegetable oil in a large Dutch voven or oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. 3. Working in batches, sear the short ribs on all sides until they are browned and crispy. This will take about 5 minutes per batch. Remove the ribs from the pot and set them aside. 4. In the same pot, add the chopped onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Sauté the vegetables until they are softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes. 5. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for an additional 2 minutes to enhance its flavor. 6. Pour in the red wine and scrape the bottom of the pot to release any browned bits. Allow the wine to simmer for a few minutes until it has reduced slightly. 7. Add the beef broth, thyme sprigs, and bay leaves to the pot. Return the short ribs to the pot, nestling them into the liquid. 8. Cover the pot with a lid and transfer it to the preheated oven. Braise the short ribs for about 2.5 hours, or until the meat is tender and falling off the bone. 9. Once the short ribs are cooked, remove them from the pot and set them aside. Skim any excess fat from the surface of the cooking liquid. 10. Strain the cooking liquid into a saucepan and simmer it over medium heat until it has reduced. 11.
