Oat milk. Apparently, the “disgusting carbs” in oat milk cause menstrual cycle dysregulation and erectile dysfunction. That sounds like quite a powerful combination of ingredients, so I was excited to see what all the fuss was about. Much to my dismay, it turns out that this is just oats and water. I picked a middle range one off the shelf. There are some creamier ones with a little extra oil and thickeners, presumably to give the oat milk a thicker consistency (like you get with full fat milk versus low fat milk). There are also some others ones that are literally just water, oats and salt, or water oats and plant fibre. I honestly could not give two hoots what kind of milk you want to drink, honestly. I find it weird that so many people argue about oat milk or almond milk, when most people drinking this are doing so just because they can’t drink dairy lol. If someone doesn’t want to drink oat milk, they don’t have to. But there is no need to lie and say it causes erectile dysfunction lol. All I ask for, is for people to make nutrition videos to not make them inappropriately terrifying. Because being lied to about the health risks of a food doesn’t benefit you. It prevents you from making educated decisions. P.S. My best-selling book, ‘Everything Fat Loss’ is currently on sale as a brand-new audiobook, plus digital/print versions from Barnes and Noble, Apple, Kobo, Google, and Amazon with an extra 43% off in Canada. Feel free to grab it before the price goes up (Iink in profile). #milk #oatmilk #oats #oatmeal #porridge #oatly #almondmilk #soymilk #plantbased #animalbased #keto #ketogenic #nutrition #health #fitness #fatloss #weightloss #exercise #weightlosstips #fatlosstips #calories #caloriedeficit #diabetes #pcos #foryou #fyp #fypシ
