President Trump told reporters Tuesday that he does not think his national security adviser, Mike Waltz, should apologize for the controversy around a Signal group chat that inadvertently included a reporter in discussions about highly sensitive plans to bomb Houthi targets in Yemen. Waltz started the group chat, which also included Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Trump blamed the technology of the Signal app, and also denied that the information discussed in the chat was classified. Waltz, who was in the room as Trump spoke to the press, said he agreed with Trump's criticisms of the app. "Let's get everybody in the room whenever possible," he said. #trump #signal #news #group #chat
