Took a few minutes to sneak this Corvette on the dyno for a baseline pull before it goes under the knife. This car will be getting the full treatment with a camshaft, torque converter, fuel system upgrades, and a supercharger setup from A&A along with an improved radiator and exhaust system. The car made very good horsepower and torque for being a nearly stock C6. The car has been tuned before and although it isn't perfect, it probably has little room for improvement in its current form. The saga continues with the 2006 Corvette Z06 that was dropped off "Just needing a tune." while I do enjoy solving people's problems like these, cars like this are the reason my schedule continuously gets pushed back exponentially further and further with each passing day. I was starting to think that this car was never going home and I would just end up owning it 😂 fortunately, that is not the case. It looks like I finally got all the problems sorted out and the car may actually be ready to go home. In case you don't believe the dyno numbers are what they should be, consider the fact that none of us know exactly what is done to the car, specifically the camshaft. finally got the misfire situation resolved on the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. thankfully it was as simple as changing spark plugs and plug wires. after enduring severe public backlash from my followers for threatening to not put the car on the dyno, it turned out to be very beneficial because the car ended up having some fueling issues. there is definitely a little bit of work that needs to be done to the tune, although it is far from the worst I've ever seen. The whole reason I did not intend on putting it on the dyno was because the tune looked fairly decent. after making an initial pull, It became apparent that the car had other unresolved issues, specifically with the fuel system. In this case, the DSX tuning auxiliary pump was not getting power. I thought the power was caused by a short in the wiring, but evidently that is not the case. He wrapped up the twin turbocharged 2014 Camaro SS today. It's taking a lot longer than I would have liked, but it's finally over with. The car was originally shipped to me for diagnosing a misfire issue which turned out to be a problem with the spark plug wires and the coil location. after that was resolved, it became pretty clear that the car needed a larger fuel injector because the ones that were in it were nowhere near large enough to support E85. after replacing the injectors, the clutch decided to leave the chat and a monster twin disc was installed to handle the additional torque. That is when the wastegates started showing signs of failure. They were rebuilt and then the fuel pump decided it was inadequate, so a DSX tuning auxiliary fuel pump was installed and now all is well.
