Replying to @keith Are you even South African if you don’t love yourself some Lamb Braai Chops 🇿🇦 Here’s what you will need for the delicious chops, this marinade is sooo yum, you definitely want to give it a try! * 500 grams lamb chops * Salt to taste * 1 tablespoon chilli powder * ½ teaspoon cumin powder * ½ teaspoon coriander powder * 1 tablespoon Shisanyama seasoning from @Woolworths SA * 1 teaspoon ginger & garlic paste * ½ cup @Ina Paarman’s Kitchen Peri Peri marinade Method: * Bring out the lamb chops, cut off any excess fat (keep it on if you prefer it) or ink prints on the fat. Give the chops a rinse & place into a bowl. * To the chops, add all of the ingredients above & mix with your hands until everything is well combined. * Cover & refrigerate for a minimum of at least 1 hour, the longer it marinates the better! * Place the marinated chops onto hot coals (Braai stand) or if you have an indoor grill like me simply pop them in there on medium heat. * Allow the meat to cook for 5 minutes, flip & cook for 10 minutes. * After 10 minutes, flip again & baste the meat with leftover marinade (there should be enough left behind) * Keep flipping and basting until it’s cooked to your liking. * We personally like our meat to be burnt a little so you do you for this one! * You can pop on sausages if you’re having that, about 15 minutes before the meat has cooked fully. * Enjoy!! #eatmeerecipes #braai #chops #southafricatiktok #braaichops #marinade #africarising #recipes
