👻Just hanging out with my ghouls! 🍂 I must admit that making these homemade spooky window stickers was so satisfying! Are you one of those people who enjoyed picking PVA glue off your fingers when you were in school? 🍂 I discovered a way of making window clings with Autumn leaves and we had to give it a try, with a sprinkle of ghostly spook for Halloween! It is October at the end of the week after all.. 🍂👻 • We painted PVA glue, directly onto fresh leaves and drew the little faces with a black sharpie and cut them out. (Black paper or card would work well too!) • Once the glue was completely dry we carefully peeled it of, the really satisfying bit! Look at these DIY 👀 candles!! And you can actually burn them! I was inspired by @ashleyposkin to create these googly eye candles but I made the eyes from melted wax and an acrylic paint pen. then used more melted wax to attach the eyes to the twisty candles! It's the perfect way to use the wax from any broken ghost candles you might have made. But now the real question is do you see monsters or tentacles? To twist the candles you need to use hot tap water and let them sit 15-20 minutes to really soften (if using a small container to warm the candles, you may want to swap out the hot water a few times to keep it from getting to cool). This rice ghost is such a great textured craft for little ones. I cut out a simple ghost stencil from a piece of paper and then sponged my glue onto black card. Use a generous amount of glue. Add your eyes and mouth BEFORE your rice - i just used black paper. Next spoon or pour on rice and cover all the glue.
