Fun fact- I competed for the NPC and then went on to get my pro card for WBFF 🏆 In retrospect, as a coach now, I look back at my competing experience and have mixed emotions. On one hand I have an enormous amount of gratitude for the discipline and the foundation it built 🪨 On the other hand I could have done without the hormonal, and metabolic damage that resulted from some of the extreme measures it takes to get your physique in stage shape 😕 The truth is- there are ways to do it right, and there are a lot of ways to do it wrong. The wrong ways can create damage and a lot of backtracking on your fitness mission.
