Comment “bulkhead” and I’ll send you @upgradedpoints full list of pros and cons to the bulkhead row on an airplane. ✈️ Here’s some of my thoughts 👇 Pros: if you’ve got a baby that fits, the bassinets are really cool to have! These fit on the wall in front of you and are put up after takeoff. There is a lot more leg room so if you’ve got a little one who wants to stand and stretch their legs, it nice to have this space. Usually the airline won’t charge the adult with the lap infant on the ticket extra to sit in this row. In my experience, it’ll depend on the airline if they charge the rest of your family to sit in this row with you (spouse, others kids). There are no reclining seats in front of you making it really nice to not have to worry about your little one kicking someone else’s seat. Now for my cons: 1. The armrests don’t typically go up! So if you’re trying to lay baby across two laps to sleep, that won’t happen. If you’re trying to install a car seat, it might be difficult since you can’t lift the armrest to install (not always necessary but sometimes it’s helpful to have thah extra space while installing.) 2. There is no under seat storage since their is no row in front of you. So we would have to use the overhead bin to our our diaper bag in and get up everytime we needed a new toy, diapers, blanket, etc. 3. We found that sometimes people would use this extra space to cross in front of when navigating to a bathroom. 5. If you’re hoping to get a n empty seat next to you, it may be more likely that the row will be completely filled because many non-parent travelers like these seats because of the extra leg room. 6. The tray tables and TVs come out from the sides of the seats and are not on the seat in front of you (this doesn’t bother all families). #bulkhead #bulkheadseats #baby #toddler #travelfamy #traveltips #toddlermom
