Most fetal anomalies are diagnosed at the fetal anatomy scan between 18-22 weeks. There is no way to know what you would do until you are in this situation. With lethal fetal anomalies the options of care include TOP. To just take that option off the table because politicians say so IS NOT appropriate and reasonable maternal healthcare. I was trained to diagnose fetal anomalies, counsel the patient and explain options. Politicians were not.
