As you may be aware, we’ve always shared about our decision to have one child. And we shared our experience, because in our decision to have one child, there was sooo many negative views and opinions on only children, which really bothered us. If we chose to have only have Madi, she child would be so loved by her family, cousins, friends, and the community we build around her. We have no doubt that she can’t have a full, happy, adventurous life. We wanted to reassure those who may be unsure that having only one child is a valid and beautiful choice. However, as time has passed and with the support of God and therapy, we feel that our hearts changing. We find ourselves contemplating the idea of expanding our family to include a second child. Yet, we remain undecided because we cherish the current season of our lives. Madison has become more independent, allowing us to engage in more family activities together. However, her desire for a sibling has prompted us to reconsider, not to mention, originally, we always wanted at least 2 kids. Despite our excitement about the possibility, numerous fears still linger, including the inevitable lack of sleep! 😅 That being said, the once-closed door is now open, and we’re actively considering the idea of welcoming another child into our lives. 🙌🏼 PRAY FOR US. #onlychild #sibling #pregnacy #parenthood #oneandonly #oneanddone #onlychildlife #onlychildren #siblinglove #siblings #brothersister #sistersister #bigsister
