What did our favorite Disney characters look like in their younger days? I have been doing this project for a little over year now. Some of them are already evil, some are still in their innocence and some aren’t even evil at all depending on your perspective. First, I had to figure out how old they were in their respective movies and subtract about 20-30 years for most. A lot of research was done regarding the time period that they were in to really get the outfits to be believable. The most difficult part was figuring out what to change about the character design and what to keep the same. For the villains without backstories, I wrote about what I believe they could’ve went through at that time in their lives. Shere Khan was the middle child. He had an older brother and a younger sister. He would often act up in order to garner some attention from his mother who was always preoccupied. She never cared for him as much as he cared for them. Probably because he had a different father. One day, while on a walk with his siblings, Khan decides to sneak into the forbidden human village and cause some chaos to impress his siblings. Little did he know, there was a tiger trap set up and he was captured. Fearing for their brother’s life, his brother and sister ran into the camp where they were immediately shot right in front of the captured Khan. The camp that Khan had snuck into was a camp of bandits who used methods of torture to get what they wanted. Torture included the removal of limbs who were fed to their newly captured pet. At first Khan hated human flesh, but after a while he developed a taste for it. She lived alone because most of her family had been deceased. She was always polite and kind to Edgar, but she was very particular in the way she spent her money so Edgar was paid very little. He was also the only servant in the household. He believed that his pay was based on his performance, so he became a jack of all trades. He did everything in his power to make the Bonfamille house run smoothly. As the years passed, Adelaide would go through relationship after relationship with no success, but Edgar was always there as her shoulder to cry on.
