Why thank you Queen Clarisse Marie Grimaldi Reinaldi, Dowage Queen of Genova. Please overlook the janky blinds, the unpainted walls, the uninstalled hardware and the unfinished hutch. I’ll get it one day. And I certainly am no Paolo. We bought this house back in June 2021 and by the time we finished renovating- putting down hardwood, moving a kitchen and redoing the stairs- we were out of budget! So for the next two and a half years we bided our time and this bathroom became a storage room. (The previous owners didn’t use the shower either and used it to store their luggage) but fast forward to January 2023, our coffers were somewhat replenished and we hired our contractors to finish this project! They officially completed renos April of this year. And now, all that’s left to do is paint this bathroom, put up the towel hooks and other fixtures, refinish that hutch that and take down those janky blinds and put in some cute cafe curtains. Don’t ask me why I’ve been dragging my feet on these minor projects! I’ll get to them. One day. But for now we’re enjoying this 93% finished bathroom. I love that we chose honed marble floors and wall tiles. And mixed in some warm wood elements in the vanity and thrifted chunky frames. I love this claw foot tub, it’s legit a dream come true. The polished nickel hardware is so so lovely. And the antique hutch served as extra storage for all the pretty things while the bottom cabinets hide extra toiletries and junk. Because there’s always a junk drawer in every room in my house. #masterbathroom #bathroomremodel #beforeandafter #homedecor #bathtub
