Welcome to Multnomah Falls, the tallest waterfall in Oregon and one of the easiest to get to 💦 Multnomah Falls ⬇️ 💦 It is 620 feet (189 m) high! 🛣️ Located along the Historic Columbia River Highway, I recommend doing this drive and stopping off at LOTS of the beautiful waterfalls along the way 🌆 It’s actually only a 30 minute drive from Portland 🎟️ You need a timed permit to visit here from May to the start of September between 9am-6pm, which you can get easily online (this is only if you are parking, if you hike from elsewhere, it’s fine) 🌅 My tip is to go before 9am, less crowds + you don’t need a permit to park! 🚙 Parking is so easy here, right at the site of the falls. You can even SEE the falls from the parking area. You can access parking from the Historic Columbia River Highway OR the I-84. 🍿 They have a concessions area and restrooms here too. Open during normal hours - not when I went early! Would you visit here?
