First time dyeing something with food waste ✌️🥑 I saw my friend @Immy - everyday sustainability dye some of her clothes pink using avocado pits and I was like that is literally the *perfect* solution to my needing-a-pink-tablecloth-but-not-having-one problem. I used 6 avocado pits to upcycle an old eucalyptus sheet that had been collecting dust into a cute table cloth for a paint & sip night with the girlies. My biggest takeaway was that with natural dye, it’s a lot of experimentation. The vibrancy and hue can vary each time based on the amount of avocado pits you have, whether you use the pits and the skins, and how long you let it soak.
