A few months ago someone messaged me and told me they had seen a teddy bear on the side if the road in my hometown of Jackson, MI at Cascades Park. (This was NOT a memorial sight - I made sure to check.) The teddy bear was extremely damaged, with a ruined nose, bugs, and dirt all over it. For now, until I can find the owner – they will safely stay in my restoration room until we can reunite them. 💌🐻❤️. This is Brownie. Brownie’s fur has been completely rubbed off from all of the years of love he has received. His best friend Wendy has held him dear for many years. Brownie had lost all of his fur, had hundreds of holes all over his body (his vest held him together), and he no longer had ears.) Brownie holds the record for the longest it’s taken to complete arestoration. This involved countless hours and failed patterns in order to achieve the desired look. I wanted to keep the vintage feel - and I believe I was able to fully re-create that. Wendy and Brownie will be reunited very soon! I am so appreciative of her patience ❤️. ———- Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.
