Peppers & Pennies: a creamy one-pot pasta dish with just the right amount of spice! . Ingredients: 1. 1/2 onion - chopped 2. 14oz andouille sausage - cut into “pennies” 3. 2 tbs of olive oil 4. 15oz can of tomato sauce 5. 1 cup of water 6. 1/2 cup of sliced jalapeños 7. 1/2 tbs of chicken bouillon powder 8. 8oz short pasta of choice 9. 4oz cream cheese 10. Salt and pepper to taste. . Steps: 1. In a medium pot, add oil and cook onions and sausage on medium high for 5 minutes. 2. Add tomato sauce, water, chicken bouillon, and jalapeños. Bring to a boil. 3. Add uncooked pasta and stir, making sure the pasta is submerged. Then simmer for 10-12 minutes. Or until pasta is tender. 4. Add cream cheese and stir and season. 5. Serve warm. .
