Sometimes we can’t do that because the name is already taken. That was the case here. So, late one afternoon I picked up the phone and said, “Hey, Bonnie. I want to name the floor plan after you. What do you think about that?” Bonnie’s reply, “OMG! YES!!” And that’s how she got her name. Sorry Scott. 🤣 We’ll have to name one after you another time. Let’s get straight to…. Barndo 21 of our Leap Year Barndo Tour Our client, Alex, is my hairdresser and owns a beautiful salon in Conroe, Texas @carbon_salon . Their new location will host a grand opening in April. One day she says to me… Stacee, I found one of your plans on your website, I love the video walk thru and I want to build it. I just need a few modifications. We hear that from a lot from folks. I told Alex, easy. We can make that happen. And the next thing you know… She moved in last fall. It’s GORGEOUS!!! There’s a lot of WOW in her 2200 ft.² Barndominium. Two bedrooms plus a flex space (or 3rd bedroom), 2 bathrooms, walk in pantry, 3 fireplaces, mud nook, soaring vaulted ceilings, nearly 1800 ft.² of covered porches and an outdoor kitchen. How I enjoyed my time, taking a tour of her amazing home. Alex went all out with beautiful laminate flooring, super cool lighting fixtures, electric window shades, wood beams in the great room, steel and glass exterior doors and a modern, clean interior vibe. Barndo 18 of our Leap Year Barndo Tour This is the popular Lauren Design (modified) and she is going up in Kentucky. This layout has so many wonderful features including a wraparound porch on three sides, vaulted great room, large kitchen island, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and this one has a gorgeous loft. That amazing outdoor kitchen and fireplace overlook the water leading out from their custom bridge and onto their boat dock. BUT…. let’s talk about that over the top, 10’ x 10’ glass garage door for a minute. It’s a bifold door called Evo-Wave from @evo.doors ! Talk about WOW!! She’s a little pricey, BUT….at the push of a button, you double your entertaining space and all your guests go WOW!!! WOW!!! Jamie general contracted their Barndo build himself and you are hitting it out of the ballpark my friend!! They plan to move in at the end of March.
