Want your home to smell as good as a luxury hotel? Then invest in some quality home fragrances! Here are some of the luxury candles I’ll be burning most this spring. 🔹 MIZENSIR - ECUME DE MER I picked up this gorgeous candle at @Mizensir Parfums’ Nolita store a couple months back. It’s rose and peach with a salty aquatic vibe. The Mizensir store has a private space in the back where you can book a one-hour appointment and they’ll take you through the entire collection of fragrances and candles... with champagne, of course! It’s a must-try experience if you’re a fellow fraghead living in or visiting NYC. The brand’s founder is master perfumer Alberto Morillas, who’s behind some of the world’s most famous fragrances, including Calvin Klein’s CK One and Giorgio Armani’s Acqua di Giò. 🔹 DIPTYQUE - ROSES If you love the smell of fresh-cut roses, you’ll appreciate this candle. It’s one of the classics from @diptyque Paris - simple, but elegant. Also be sure to check out the new limited-edition candles Diptyque just came out with in partnership with Café Verlet in Paris! I’m especially eager to try Biscuit, which I’ve heard is amazing. 🔹 D.S. & DURGA - HOLY FICUS I’m a huge fan of the Brooklyn-born @D.S. & DURGA and I’m also a huge fan of fig scents, so of course this candle was bound to be a slam dunk for me! It’s fascinating to see what a different interpretation of fig this candle is compared to the brand’s Debaser fragrance, which I also love. While Debaser is juicy and fruity, Holy Ficus is green and stemmy, with a hint of incense that adds complexity. Will you be burning any candles this spring?
