7 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS ⭐️ Day 2: Eggnog Creme Brûlée This was my first time making creme brûlée and it came out so good! I don’t like when you can taste the egg in creme brûlée, and you couldn’t taste it at all with this recipe. It is also naturally gluten free, which is a plus! 😋 Ingredients: - 1 cup eggnog - 1 cup heavy whipping cream - 1/2 cup sugar - 1/8 tsp salt - 1/4 tsp nutmeg - 4 large egg yolks, room temperature - 2 tsp vanilla paste or extract - 1/3 cup sugar for the brûlée Directions Preheat oven to 350° 1. Add eggnog, heavy cream, sugar, salt and nutmeg to a saucepan over medium heat until it simmers 2. Separate four egg yolks in a separate bowl and whisk until light and airy 3. Add the eggnog mixture to the egg yolk mixture, a ladle at a time, while whisking continuously. Add vanilla paste. 4. Add ramekins to a dish / baking sheet. Pour mixture evenly into each ramekin. 5. Fill the dish / baking sheet halfway with boiling water. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes. 6. Remove from oven to cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. 7. When ready to serve, add an even layer of sugar to the top of the ramekins, then use a torch or broil them in the oven. #glutenfree #glutenfreerecipes #glutenfreefood #glutenfreeeats #glutenfreefoodie #glutenfreechristmas #glutenfreebaking #christmasbaking #christmasfood #christmasrecipes #christmaseats #cremebrulee #crèmebrûlée #eeeeeats #recipeshare #easyrecipes #glutenfreeblog #foodblog #foodblogger #recipeblog #foodiesofinstagram #foodlovers #sweettooth #recipeideas #recipevideo #recipereels #goodeats #homemadefood #bostonfoodie #eggnog
