Heat the oil to 375°F (190°C). Use a cooking thermometer to ensure accurate temperature. ⁃ Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. ⁃ Dredge the Seafood: Coat each piece of seafood in the flour, shaking off any excess. This light coating will become crispy when fried ⁃ Fry the Seafood: Working in batches to avoid overcrowding, carefully lower the coated seafood into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes for shrimp and scallops, and 3-4 minutes for fish pieces, depending on their size. ⁃ Drain and Serve: Use a slotted spoon or a wire mesh to transfer the fried seafood to a plate lined with paper towels to drain off any excess oil. ⁃ Serving: Serve your fried seafood immediately while hot and crispy. Lemon wedges are perfect accompaniments for adding a bit of zest and flavor. #seafood #seafoodlover #seafoodplatter #food #foodporn #deepfried #foodie #foodblogger #recipe #recipes #easyrecipe #foodart #cooking
